I have only one goal, and that is to become a giant pop star. I don’t think about what the next concept I’m going to do or anything. “Seven” I didn’t even plan in advance—Producer Bang Si-hyuk just played it for me, and it was so good, I said, ‘Oh, I have to do it.’ I thought about what kind of promotion I would do when I decided to do “Seven.” It’s all instinct too.

When the interviewer argued that Jungkook was already a “giant pop star,” Jungkook humbly disagreed sharing that he didn’t feel that way.

For Jungkook, he feels he can do more and “be even better.”

I don’t see it that way. I guess it’s just my ambition—the ambition to be appreciated more and to be better. In one word: cool. That’s the whole reason I’m doing it.
